INTERMEDIATE WORKSHOP
Level-up your graphics application game
This course is geared towards people who already understand the fundamentals of vinyl application and are eager to expand their knowledge and expertise. It is designed for those who have progressed beyond the beginner stage but aren’t yet proficient doing full vehicle wraps.
During this course we will cover:
- In-depth squeegee and application techniques.
- Learning how to “read” the vinyl for optimal application.
- Managing tension and build-up effectively.
- Cutting and trimming techniques.
- Using heat to stretch and relax the film.
- Vehicle wrapping – complex shapes, recesses.
- Using Knifeless tape effectively.
- Post-heating.

Instructor Bio: Cal James
Throughout his career Cal has participated in multiple award-winning wrapping competitions, worked at various sign shops in Melbourne, and travelled around the world to share his technical expertise and skills. He is passionate about collaborating with industry professionals and providing hands-on support to enhance their wrapping techniques. With over 20 years of knowledge and experience under his belt, he breaks down complex topics into easy-to-understand lessons.
